Blue Lagoon

A must-see when one happens to drop by Ilocos Norte. The place is simply amazing.

Untouched and Unspoiled.

It was really windy this time of the year and the tides were unmanageable yet a surfer may view this place as its haven.

Bangui Windmills

As per wikipilipinas.org, these 15 giant fans supplies 40% electricity to the Ilocos Region. However, we were told that it now only supplies 15% electricity to the province. Some of the windmills were not powered when we visited the place.

My sole reason for going to Ilocos Norte. The rest were just add-ons...

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

This lighthouse is sitting on top of a hill. The road leading to the lighthouse can be compared to the road leading to Cebu's Tops, except that the road to Tops is steeper. My companions counted the steps leading to the top and I think they counted more than 90 steps. The climb to the top is scary but once you're there, the view is simply breathtaking.
